I had enought with slops

I don't know why. But my YouTube, Twitter (I still refuse to call the thing X) and Facebook account has been simultaneously infested with AI slop. Absolutelly low effort, low quality, hype or fear mongoring (I think the AI risk is real, both economy and human existence. But that needs real adult conversation). STOP! Why should I spend my effort reading your garbage when you yourselves spent 0 effort creating it?

Even if I assume AI is smarter then humans (they might be.. in some directions, intelligence is not a single dimension thing), what makes your AI generated content contain something that I should read? Where's the insight you gathered? Something you learned? A story that you gone through? If you have an AI and I have my AI. What makes the story your AI tell valuable that I want to spend my time reading it, when I can just experience it first hand if I am interested around the same subject -- Nothing!

I am so tired of this wave of people 10x-ing their productivity and be pumping out useless slop. I have even seen people trying to mimic the corporation hierarchy using AI and the person, ofc, be the CEO. Serious? What exact problem are you solving? And do you have the ablity to deal with AIs generating hallucinations that you cannot verify? In a real company, that person making the bad report is responsible for the issue. With AIs you are the only person capable of being responsible.

That also reminds me. This site I am publishing on, was first started as a Gemini capsule. I only added HTTP proxying later. 5 years of this site and I am still using Gemtext as the hypertext format (be it I added some specific rendering to make rendering to HTML work better, But remains very readable as Gemtext on Gemini browsers).

Maybe it's time for me to focus on Gemini again. And maybe I am too tired today.
